A program being launched by Crown-ACE Hardware and 1-800-GOT-SCRAP this holiday season will swap your old lights for a $5 gift certificate redeemable for purchases over $20 – and that includes strings of holiday bling. According to Mark Schulein, owner of 17 Crown-ACE Hardware Stores in Orange, Riverside and San Diego counties, newer lights are more energy efficient and safer than some of the older products.
